Short course, even from the White tees. But that's OK. Still have to hit your ball into the right spot to have a clear stroke to the green. Greens are small, so landing on them is tough too. Always in good shape, except for a few tee boxes (par 3's).

Due to geography, the course can be a bit wet, especially with all the rain we have had in April and May. But the course was in great condition. There were some spots that were under "construction" and roped off as additional drainage pipes had been laid earlier in the season. The course is a bit short, but tough to score well.

I have played this course before. It can be challenging. Especially now with the rain we have had in CNY. The rough was long and unfortunately I found it too often. Greens seemed to run fast, then slower. The grounds crews are working feverishly to mow, but it has been tough for them to get around to some places. I will return again.

I was pleasantly surprised the course was as playable as it was. We have had a LOT of rain in CNY this spring. But the course was in very good shape. Credit to the grounds crew!

We have had a LOT of rain here in CNY this spring. Vesper Hills is located well above Owasco Lake. There were still some damp spots, and some areas where the carts were not permitted to go due to the ground being so soft. But overall, the course was in very good shape. The rough was a bit deeper than usual as the mowers have had a tough time getting around.

This is a municipal course - it is IN Ocala. The greens were GREAT, although slower than I was used to here in Florida. Reminded me of velvet. Fairways in decent shape. Some sand, little water to worry about. It was VERY busy, which slowed down play. The thing I missed was the serenity of being on a golf course. Most are settled within single family homes, or out in the country. This is IN the city of Ocala. A lot of road noise, and therefore few views of fauna. The three workers I spoke with were very friendly and helpful as this was our first time on this course.

Played a few up here. Best course around. Based on price, greens, fairways, difficulty. Back nine always seems tougher to me than the front - more dog legs - and if you are not in the right spot off the tee, there is a problem getting to the green in regulation. But that is a user problem, not the course.

Been here for 6 weeks. Played a lot of courses. CO is one of our favorites. Great price, good layout, challenging enough for all levels.

Very windy, which affected my irons, especially on the par 3's. Greens are VERY fast. Could use some water to allow approaches to stick better. Overall a great course.

Played here often this spring. Good course. People move right along, not much of a hold up. Greens are good. Can we cut the tree down on #12? Asking for a friend.....;)

First time there. Multiple tees to choose from, I did not choose wisely....Played from too far back. Made for tough seconds and even tough drives trying to avoid hazards and trees. But a wonderful course. Plan on returning!

First time playing it. Good course. Plan on returning. Greens were VERY FAST! I was warned, but nothing prepares an amateur for this kind of speed. Ball above the hole, prepare to three putt, at least. Water really not in play unless you slice. One tight fairway. The rest were good. Sand was good and soft too. Very crowded. Took us 5 hours to play 18. Glad we went. Will be returning next week.

Nice course. Not a lot of tree issues, but there are ponds if you slice or mishit your drive. Good to know the course layout on some holes. Starter seems a bit grumpy. I realize he deals with a LOT of people every day, but a smile and greeting is not too much to ask.

Have played the course before. Use GolfNow which is the reason for the low price. Tough course due to the many streams and rivers that flow through the course. Due to it being February, the grass was still dormant, making even fairway stroked challenging. But they have upgraded some of the greens with new SOD, not reseeded - new SOD! They were much faster than the others.

Great course. A bit tougher than the sister course, RR West as there are more doglegs and ponds. Nice to play a challenging course.

Nice course. A bit tougher than the corresponding West course. More water, sand and doglegs. In very good condition as it gets a bit less play than the West course.

The East course is tougher than the West, by design. They have not opened the clubhouse at the East course, so you have to check in and get your cart at the West clubhouse. Course was in great shape! Despite not getting a lot of play; fairways mowed, greens were fast, no debris lying around. Forgot about the hidden pond on one hole, and as Murphy would attest to, I found it....

One of my favorite local courses. Javi has done a great job with the new clubhouse and is upgrading the service with a new golf pro. They have begun a junior lesson/league too.

I did click "yes" regarding recommending the course to a friends, but with reservations.... Course was OK, nothing great. Had really only a few holes that were interesting. Most were straight, driving range style. Fairways were mediocre, but the tee boxes and greens were in good shape. There are two other courses nearby. Don't know that I would play here again for the $35.00 each.
