Palms at Palm-Aire Country Club
About
The Palms Golf Course is a tract that locals and visitors alike just love to play. Originally designed by William Mitchell in 1962, the Palms was completely renovated by Karl Litton and Lorie Viola in 1996.
The accommodating fairways make it easier to hit your tee shots in play. Once on the 'dance floor', the Bermuda greens roll true and quick.
The Palms Course has a number of picturesque water hazards. As its name would indicate, the Palms features lovely native Palm trees throughout the course.
It is most definitely a true Florida golf course and one, which everybody should put on their 'must play' list .

It’s just OK
I try to stay positive and all of my reviews, so I’ll start with the good stuff first. Played as a solo matched up with three super cool guys. The greens are impeccable pace of play below average.
Lots of dog leg lefts. Course must’ve been designed by a lefty with a power fade.
I’m sure other people are gonna give it five stars and that’s fine we get out of what we want when we play a new place
Not our best golf experience
One of the most poorly run golf courses I have experienced in all my years of golfing. Not enough carts, large clubhouse restaurant but only hot dogs and cannot check in until 15 minutes before tee time. Only staff that was friendly was the bar tender. No drink person on the course. Course vending machine takes cash only and not functional.
Tee boxes and fairways very dry. Just not a well maintained course. Surprised they have 4 star reviews overall. We are not very fussy people but we’re disappointed by our experience here. Several sand traps had no rakes (thankfully did not have too many of those shots! :-))
Overall very tired course. They Could charge a bit more and spend a little money to make it far better. Won’t be back.
Good
Greens needs some work . Other then that course food is pretty good. I would play this course again
Good value with a rebate
We played the Palms course. Nice layout. Some tee boxes need some TLC. Most of the fairways and greens were in good shape. The car paths our finished so it’s not a smooth ride. It seemed like a quiet day just before Christmas so the pace was perfect. At full price we find it a bit expensive but it’s a nice course to play.
Ich mach das mal in german: Kann man mal spielen, cartwege „ Katastrophe „.
Dem Platz fehlt Pflege.
Awesome course
This is an amazing course and the pricing was great. The course has challenging and fun holes but never felt overwhelming.
Good Day
New to this coarse , enjoyed and will back when price is right.A little slow but not terrible.
I enjoyed The Palms
For years I have played Palm Aire’s other two courses, The Oaks and Cypress, I like them both, but both of them have distinct differences, I think The Palms course combines a little bit of both. Manageable fairways, nice size greens, and enough obstacles to really make you aim for your target. I will definitely play this course again. A few glitches, the cart guy never came around to get my clubs, I brought them around after waiting a bit, and they have a very limited beer selection, and nothing cold at the turn, disappointing. But I am used to playing the other side where the clubhouse is bigger and a bit more staff. We’ll see how it goes the next time I return to The Palms.
Value for $
I must admit, I was a bit skeptical from the previous reviews. But, I must admit, I truly enjoyed the course. The greens were fair and true, the fairways were well-maintained, and the staff was at beyond friendly. If I had one complaint, it would be the shape of the tea boxes.
