The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Grande Lakes

My son and i played the course a few days after the PNC father son classic . We found the course to be outstanding . Conditions were top notch and service was pleasant and prompt . Played 18 in just under 4 hours and only hold ups were on holes limited to cart path only .

All excellent Highly maintained Good pase of play Friendly starter but shop personel was lousy and not interested to help out even a bit rude

Course was in excellent condition and greens were fast but very enjoyable to putt on. Got the golf now deal for $75, we'll worth that to play this course.
Starter advised on a few areas not to hit your shots and this really helped.
Will play again on return to orlando.

OMG if your a golfer who enjoy's a great track with great practice facilites and a-one service this is the place for you. Our foursome got a steal of a deal on this baby,a mere $75 bucks booked on-line through the courses web-site. Greens were smooth and fast,fairways were just tight enough,the bunkers were awesome and the rough was low. Our caddie Dave made the whole experience even more special. At the time it was cart path only on the back 9,partly because the PGA father son tournament was in 7 Days,which made it really cool! I'd pay full price for this one it's just awesome

Arrived at course was never told on phone that the course was playing, "cart path only"! The course, I was told had been aerated three weeks ago, fairways and greens were horrible. They should have allowed people to play for free. But my biggest disappointment were the BUNKERS. They might be the WORSE I've ever played at a high end resort. The groundskeeper should be ashamed. The caddie said the rain had played havoc but told us that the management had neglected them for years. Most green side bunkers had very little sand, black, disgusting hard pan --- they hadn't even been raked from the night before-- inexcusable There were still deep footprints and animal paw marks. No ranger seen during the four hours. Last time they had an on corse concierge -- I guess the course has budget cuts. I expected a gem but got a piece of coal!

I have played the ritz in Orlando before and in each occasion I have found the facilities to Bevin fantastic shape. The greens rolled true and tees and fairways well maintained as well. It's a nice resort layout but choose your tees wisely as if you get out if position off the tee it could be tough to find your ball. Depending on time if year the price may be a bit steep for my liking but you find that at a ritz course. If you can get it below 75 bucks its a good course to play and if you're a local to Orlando it's a different place to play in the area.

The conditions/maintainece of this course was the best I saw on my trip to orlando. The course itself is not very interesting or scenic. I also did not find the course as difficult as expected - again very simple. I got a caddy - it was unneeded as the course is easy to navigate and find your ball. I would recommend playing others before this one on your trip to orlando. Save a few bucks and skip out on the caddy experience here as well.

The greens are excellent and are very fast. Great layout and is very good condition. We played this course last year and the staff would ride around the course and ask you if everything is going well and gave us complimentary bag tags with your name on them. This year we never saw one person come around . I very nice golf course with a good practice facility. Just very expensive

This is one of my favorite courses to play in Orlando. For a golfer of my handicap, the course has a great balance of being forgiving, yet challenging. I have never seen this course in bad shape. It is always in spectacular condition and the staff has always been top notch. Regardless which tees you play you have to make smart choices with club selection. All around just a great golf course to play.

Beautiful course with excellent conditions! I recommend to anyone in the area with some free time!

Nothing bad to say what so ever about this resort and course. The staff were first class, the course is perfect and the experience couldn't get any better.

The moment you arrive on property, you are treated like royalty.

I will most certainly be back!

If you like a challenge, this is a course to play. With bunkers and lakes in various locations, you will be put to the test using your irons. Overall this great course to enjoy with some friends.

Played this course for the first time in a scramble right after the Father/Son tournament, so the course was in great shape. It isn't that hard a driving course or for approaches. The hardest part were the green speeds. They were lightning quick.

A nice golf course in Orlando, but "typical" resort destination. Everything you would expect from a Ritz Carlton property exists at this golf course, but the course itself is not memorable. Beautiful conditions, but built on a nondescript, flat piece of property. Relatively easy to get around, the Greg Norman design offers very little intrigue of from hole to hole. Only worth playing if the price is right.

Can't say anything bad about this course. Staff is completely friendly and they pace groups so your play is wide open. We didn't have pressure from either side during our entire round.

The service is as you would expect from a Ritz Carlton facility. Super courteous and they try to accommodate any requests. I requested a fore caddie which is not mandatory but they are always helpful and always have good stories. The course was in excellent shape with greens rolling true and fast. The only complaint is that there are a lot of unfilled divots in the fairway. I was lucky but the people paired up with me ended up in 2. Guess wealthy resort guests feels like that's below them to fill divots... Definitely would recommend playing solely based on conditions and friendliness. Other than that the course is relatively easy and what you would expect from a high end resort course.

Very well maintained but of course you would expect that of the Ritz. No memorable holes. Playing from the blues several holes felt very similar. All in the 360-390 yard range. Nothing special. If you can get the GNow deal for about $50 it is worth it.

This course is great all the way from top to bottom. The staff in the pro shop is second to none, cart ladies are great and caddie program is very strong. Highly recommend utilizing one of their great caddies to save a few shots. Ours had some great stories also. The course is the best kept I have seen in Orlando ,just as good as Islesworth. You are missing out if you haven't played!

PLAYED THIS COURSE THE DAY AFTER THE FATHER .SON GOLF TOURNAMENT . NO NEED TO TELL YOU HOW FAST THE GREENS WERE13 IT WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION THIS WAS A REAL TREAT FOR ME EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. MY SON IN LAW ORDERED A SANDWICH IT WAS $14.00 I THINK A LITTLE HIGH PRICED FOR THE AVERAGE PERSON .BUT FOR GOLF IT WAS GREAT IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO PLAY THIS BABY DO IT

The course is in excellent condition. It is challenging but not extreme. Play from the proper tees for your ability and you will find it a very fun enjoyable experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very well maintained. The young man at the pro shop check in was outstanding. So was the young lady that loaded our bags. Highly recommend playing here.
